TpT Back to School Sale

Hi!

I'm so excited to be participating in my first TpT sale!!  :-)  For those of you who haven't had a chance to check out my Currently August post, I have literally JUST joined the ranks of TpT sellers.  Who knew I would take the plunge on the eve of the TpT Back to School sale?!  :-)

300 × 250

Right now, my store is pretty teeny, and I'm definitely a beginner.  I'm looking forward to growing my store and developing my abilities as a TpT creator.  You can check out my store here.

Here's a quick overview of my current products:

As you can see, this resource includes QR codes that will guide students' research of the U.S. flag, the bald eagle, the White House, the Liberty Bell, and the Statue of Liberty.  There are 10 QR codes included for each.  All symbol QR code resources are also sold separately, with a selection of the U.S. flag QR codes available as a freebie.

This resource will eventually be part of a year-long bundle of daily problem solving.  I made this resource by following my district's pacing guide and consulting our Pearson adoptions of Envision and Investigations.  I created this as a way to start math class each day in a paper-friendly way.  Each morning, my students arrive to one of these problems projected on our SMART Board.  They write the equation and show their work in math journals.  My students and I love calling on 2 or 3 students daily to share their strategies for solving the word problem.

That's all for now.  I hope everyone enjoys the Back to School sale over at TpT.  What was the most important thing you learned when you became a TpT seller?

Currently August

Hi everyone!

I'm just stopping by to link up with Farley for Currently August.  Since it's late and my body has chosen this summer to become a full-blown insomniac (as a LOVER of sleep, it's been TERRIBLE!), I'm going to just get right to it.

Listening: To this!  I love it!  What's your favorite song of summer?

Loving: Despite the fact that another birthday is coming (getting old is ZERO fun), I'm totally looking forward to my annual chocolate cake with chocolate frosting that my cousins have taken to calling THE cake.  :-)

Thinking: Okay, time to share.  :-)  I have been thinking about this for awhile, but I have finally gone ahead with it.  I've started my own TpT store y'all.  HUGE DISCLAIMER: I'm SUPER new at this, don't have a clue what I'm doing, and I hope to learn a lot along the way.  Advice and kindness are both welcomed.  I'll be working on it over the next few days, trying to get some more added for the TpT back to school sale.  Anyway, if you want to follow along/check it out, you can do that here.

Wanting/Needing: Guys, it's August (how did that happen?)!  I am in DESPERATE need of back-to-school clothes shopping!  One thing I like to do each year is get a new first day of school dress, so that's at the top of my list.  How about you?  Are you and your wardrobe ready for back-to-school?

B2S RAK: It's a hectic time, so I think that it is a great time for a RAK.  I like to write personalized notes.  It's not the most inspired, but I know how much it means to me to receive a kind, encouraging note.  I'm looking forward to hopefully getting some ideas from this Currently August link-up.

Anyway, like I said, it's LATE.  So I'm going to just throw my Currently August post up and get to bed (here's hoping sleep comes with it).

Are you ready for back-to-school yet?  What's your #1 tip for me as I begin my TpT journey?
